MY WORKOUT PLAN
I mix selected exercises from p90x, insanity, and Kris Gethrin’s “Hardcore” workout plan.
WHAT IS P90X?
A lot of people are under the misconception that P90x will make them strong. The truth is, P90x will make you very fit, but not stronger. It is comprised of moderate-weight with high reps training…designed to get you in shape and ripped. Not stronger, though.
WHAT IS INSANITY?
Insanity is an all out cardio program designed to destroy body fat. With Insanity, you WILL NOT gain muscle mass at all. You will grow leaner, and your core physique will have a lot more stamina. It is designed to give you energy and keep you active. And of course, designed to shred fat.
KRIS GETHRIN’S WORKOUT
Now THIS is designed to make you a tank. You go through tons of muscle confusion exercises, all of them to failure. You will definitely get stronger and bigger with this plan.
I mix exercises that I like from these three plans into one master plan. The reason is because I am already at 5-7% body fat, and I don’t need to be doing Insanity or P90x to lose that fat. I want to get stronger and build lean muscle. So what I do is take selected exercises from each plan, and perform them till failure. Failure means to the point where I simply cannot do the exercise any more in a given set. This workout is pretty hard and leaves me very tired at the end of the day, but my god does it work. Two weeks in and I already feel differences.
Additionally, I make sure that I drink at least a gallon of water a day. The reason is because drinking water allows you to burn more fat, plus it keeps your joints healthy and clears up your skin. Water is VERY good for you haha.
